Unused. Unopened and stored in a heated environment above 32 degrees. I opened one today (04/14) and tested it and it is very good (see photo). These barrels have been in storage in climate-controlled space, not below freezing. The manufacturer states that the foam is good if left unopened and in a climate-controlled environment above 32 degrees. Once a barrel is opened, you have a year until it's expired. They are still in the crates. Buyer would have to pick up in Findlay, OH. I can load.
I have 5 sets left (10 barrels). One set of two barrels (part A and B) is $1800.
This foam has many applications. I purchased these to make SIP panels but have gone a different route with my house construction instead. I purchased these from AeroMarine Products.
Details:
Two part, 2# per cubic foot density foam designed for use in filling cavities and voids for positive flotation. It's also an excellent insulator for use around fridges and freezers and can be sanded into any shape once cured. Foam can be covered with poly resin material and woven roving or epoxy resin with cloth, to give a strong, durable finish. I would think that this would have boating and aviation applications as well. One set covers 440 cubic feet. Two pounds per cubic foot.
The barrels are located in Findlay, OH and will need to be picked up. I can load them for you.
